Seaquist Closures
Challenge:
Production growth and increased sales volumes were requiring more output from the 300,000 square
foot manufacturing facility.
Solution:
ISG designed and installed a network of conveyor, barcode scanners and vertical lifts. The conveyor
connects several manufacturing operations within the facility. All cartons are scanned. Finished cartons are diverted to a case
sealer and vertically transported to a common take-away conveyor. Approximately 2,200 feet later, a
spiral conveyor brings the amassed cartons back to the floor level where they are accumulated for
pick-up by a palletizing gantry crane.
